DOMESTICATION OF THE GREAT APES
triumphs and follies
These are the first in an ongoing series of printmaking and mixed media pieces that I'm creating for my own exploration and of course for commerce. The larger pieces deal with the inherent nobility found in mankind. The subjects in these are great minds that have contributed to the modern mental landscape. As the scale of my work becomes more intimate the subject matter does as well. The smallest in these series tend to depict the most depraved and pettiest of motivations.
BENOIT MANDELBROT

The subject of this piece is the creator of fractal geometry and to that extent made all of the technology used in the design of these pieces possible.
